Disinformation bulletin is created by ongoing monitoring of the information environment and identifying incidents that qualify as manipulative activities.
The Disinformation bulletin is produced every Friday and includes a summary of selected propaganda or disinformation incidents. The project aims to increase resistance to disinformation by providing a look at current threats.

25/09/2023: Manipulation and disinformation of Chinese propaganda after Putin’s meeting with Wang Yi. In terms of information activities, China implements, among others, an agenda aimed at weakening NATO.
Selected disinformation narratives:
🔴 The world is being destabilized. Russia and China are concerned about international security, counteracting „unipolar hegemony”.
🔴 China and Russia share responsibility for the development and progress of the world and the protection of international justice.
🔴 Russia and China are working together towards an „international order”.
China’s information activities are part of Kremlin’s propaganda narratives and, among others, include:
🔴 Depicting the West’s defense policy in a false light as provocative, motivated by imperial ambitions.
🔴 Criticism of Western military aid to Ukraine’s defence effort.
🔴 „Verifying” disinformation about „provoked” Russia and „threatened” by the transatlantic policy China.
In the latest Disinformation bulletin, we present selected propaganda narratives contained in China’s communication after Putin’s meeting with Wang Yi:
17/09/2023: The apparatus of influence of modern Russia develops the ideological and propaganda operations of the USSR accompanying the Soviet aggression against Poland on September 17, 1939.
Selected disinformation narratives:
🔴 The occupation of the eastern areas of Poland by the Red Army was the liberation of Belarusian and Ukrainian peasants from the oppression of Polish landowners, the bourgeoisie.
🔴 Poland was xenophobic, anti-Semitic, ruled by nationalists and complicit in the outbreak of World War II.
🔴 On 17 September 1939, the Red Army launched a liberation campaign in Poland and defended the Belarusian and Ukrainian populations.
✅ Get the facts: on September 1, 1939, German troops, carrying out an armed attack, crossed the borders of the Republic of Poland. On 17 September 1939, at around four o’clock in the morning, the Soviet Union militarily attacked Poland. In this way, Stalin fulfilled the August secret agreement with Hitler (the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact), which provided for joint aggression against the Republic of Poland, the occupation and division of its territory and the actual liquidation of the Polish state.
08/09/2023: Disinformation about Poland as the country responsible for the tragedy of immigrants on the border with Belarus is part of the regime’s propoganda in Minsk. Selected disinformation narratives:
🔴 The migratory pressure on the Polish border is of natural character.
🔴 The Polish Border Guard is dropping the bodies of immigrants onto the territory of Belarus.
🔴 Immigrants are beaten, humiliated and forcibly pushed by Polish patrols onto the territory of Belarus.
🔴 Poland is responsible for the suffering of immigrants at the Polish-Belarusian border.
The engineering of forced migration used since the times of the USSR is one of the geopolitical techniques used by the Russian Federation and a non-military measure of combat important for the Russian military doctrine, used in parallel with:
🔴 disinformation,
🔴 influence operations,
🔴 other methods of hybrid warfare.
Since 2021, it is Poland and the Baltic states that have been faced with the use of forced migration engineering by the Kremlin-dependent Belarusian regime, and in addition to actions related to destabilizing the situation at the Polish-Belarusian border, there is a systematic information struggle against Poland.
31/08/2023: Belarusian propaganda, Secretary of State of the Belarusian Security Council Alexander Wolfowicz, disinform about the situation on the PL-BY border.
Wolfowicz’s lies are a continuation of the disinformation operation aimed at Poland.
Selected disinformation narratives:
🔴 The migratory pressure on the Polish border is of natural character.
🔴 Belarus does not contribute to the influx of illegal migrants.
🔴 Poland is „pushing” immigrants or their corpses into the territory of Belarus.
🔴 The Polish Border Guard uses violence / beatings against immigrants.
✅ Learn the facts: The Lukashenko regime uses the mechanism of forced migration against Poland – a geopolitical technique and a non-military means of combat used since the times of the USSR in parallel with disinformation, influence operations and other methods of hybrid warfare.
26/08/2023: The Kremlin’s propaganda apparatus perseveres in promoting false information about the participation of Polish soldiers / mercenaries in the war in Ukraine. This is an element of the Kremlin’s long-run disinformation whose unveiling is, among other things, the construction of a false image of Poland as an aggressive and offensive country that conducts a „proxy war” against Russia in Ukraine. This is disinformation.

🔴 Poland secretly sends soldiers to Ukraine under the pretence of mercenarism.
🔴 Polish mercenaries / soldiers in Ukraine commit crimes, looting, rape and murder.
🔴 The task of Poles in Ukraine is terror and the elimination of Ukrainian soldiers who do not want to fight Russia.
🔴 Polish mercenaries are preparing the annexation and occupation of Western Ukraine.
18/08/2023: The propaganda apparatus of Russia and China cooperate in information activities aimed at shaping a false image of NATO and the security policy of the West. The information activities participate in a series of operations aimed at creating a false image of Russian aggression against Ukraine as „provoked and inspired” by the West.
We present selected disinformation theses of Chinese diplomats promoted by the Russian propaganda apparatus.
🔴 NATO is „fuelling” conflicts around the world, destroying stability and inspiring separatism.
🔴 NATO poses a threat to the world peace and should be resolved with the end of the „Cold War”.
🔴 NATO expansion is the main reason for the „exacerbation of the crisis in Ukraine”.
🔴 NATO exists only through the constant initiating of wars and provoking conflicts.
10/08/2023: The Russian propaganda apparatus propagates the disinformation of the Belarusian MoD about Belarusian choppers not crossing Polish airspace.
The manipulation message is another information measure of the Lukashenko regime related to the provocation and violation of Polish airspace by Belarusian choppers.
Facts: On August 1, 2023, there was a violation of Polish airspace by two Belarusian choppers that carried out training near the border.
The Ministry of Defense of Belarus issued a manipulation message that contains disinformation about the lack of violation of Polish airspace by Belarusian choppers on August 1, 2023.
Selected disinformation narratives:
Belarusian choppers did not violate Polish airspace on August 1, 2023.
The announcement of the Polish MoD is a deliberate action to „justify” the dislocation and the increase in the number of troops and equipment near the border with Belarus.
The Polish Ministry of National Defence is dependent (non-sovereign) and has made a deliberate change of position as a result of consultations „with its overseas commanders”.
02/08/2023: The Russian propaganda apparatus seeks to replace the facts about the Russian attack on Ukraine with a false impression of conducting a proxy war in Ukraine, defence against the „aggression” of the West, NATO.
Russian propaganda is shaping a false picture of the war in Ukraine. The Russian attack on Ukraine is portrayed in a false light as a defensive war against provocations by NATO, especially Poland.
Selected disinformation narratives:
NATO commands the troops of Ukraine.
Poland / NATO provoked the war in Ukraine in preparation for the annexation of Western Ukraine and Belarus.
NATO has long planned to conduct a provocation and attack Russia.
Poland, as a vassal of the United States, aims to maintain and escalate the war in Ukraine in order to implement the imperial policy of the United States.
25/07/2023: Maria Zakharova (Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) has consistently lied about the dismantling of Red Army monuments in Poland.
Do not be fooled, learn the facts: Decommunization in Poland is, among others, the legal removal of objects propagating the totalitarian regime, including monuments of the Red Army

Selected disinformation narratives:
🔴 NATO has committed not to expand the alliance’s infrastructure to East-Central Europe;
🔴 NATO will not deploy military units in the vicinity of Russia’s borders;
🔴 The construction of NATO missile defence systems violates the provisions of the Act and poses a direct threat to Russia;
🔴 Russia has not violated the provisions of the 1997 Act, and does not carry out destabilizing activities;
🔴 The exercises of NATO’s military are of offensive nature and aimed at Russia’s security.
11/07/2023: Belarusian propaganda continues to shape the false image of Poland as an aggressive country, posing a threat to the security and territorial integrity of Belarus.
The narratives of Belarusian propaganda consistently portray Poland in the negative, false light of the „state-provocateur”, which implements in various ways the alleged plan of an armed attack on Belarus. This is a disinformation operation.
